When we begin design work

Beginning design work means we start creating CAD and life-like renders for you to react to. It also means more time, expertise, and attention are involved.

  • What changes

    • We begin creating original CAD and renders
    • Design iteration becomes active work
    • Budget alignment becomes more specific
  • What doesn’t change

    • You’re not committing to production
    • You’re not committing to a final design
    • You’re not committing to a purchase

Why we pause before starting design work

Design work is meaningful, creative work — and we want to make sure it’s the right step for you. Pausing here ensures expectations are aligned and nothing feels automatic or rushed.

What happens once design work begins

  • We create an initial design direction
  • You react and share feedback
  • We refine and iterate until it feels right -- or you decide to pause

Iteration is expected. Getting it right often takes more than one pass.

A note about budget

Once design work begins, we’ll talk more concretely about budget so we don’t design something unrealistic.

Our goal is alignment -- not upsell.

We often help value-engineer designs so they reflect both your vision and your budget.

How design work begins

Design work only begins by explicit request.
If you’d like to move forward, your designer will confirm:

  • That you’re comfortable beginning design work
  • That expectations are aligned
  • What the next steps look like

Nothing begins without your consent.

Not ready yet? That’s normal.

You can browse designs, read about the process, or come back anytime.
