Ways to Match and Coordinate Your Wedding Bands

Matching wedding bands are more than a style choice—they’re a shared statement of connection. Whether you’re drawn to identical metals or complementary designs, coordinating bands can represent your shared values while still expressing your individuality.
At Luvari, we offer matching band sets for couples who want a unified look—ranging from classic gold bands with mirror finishes to brushed textures, subtle detailing, or two-tone combinations. Prefer something symbolic but not identical? We can design complementary bands that echo a shared motif, pattern, or engraving without being exact matches.

You can also personalize your bands with meaningful details, like hidden birthstones, fingerprint engraving, or shared inside inscriptions. From timeless to contemporary, our wedding bands are made to reflect your story—side by side, forever.
Flat, Dome, or Milgrain

Soft and rounded on top, a domed band has a gentle curve that gives it a more sculpted, traditional look. It’s comfortable, easy to wear, and looks refined without being flashy. This is one of the most popular styles for unisex bands.

Modern and bold, a flat band has straight edges and a squared-off top surface. It gives a sleek, architectural feel and pairs well with minimalist or contemporary styling. Ideal for someone who prefers clean lines and a subtle statement.

A classic, vintage-inspired detail. Milgrain features a fine beaded border along the edges of the band, adding subtle texture and a traditional feel. It’s a perfect choice for someone who wants timeless elegance with a touch of ornamentation.
No matter which profile you choose, every Luvari unisex band is crafted with precision, comfort, and longevity in mind—designed to suit any hand, any identity, and any love story.
Band Profiles & Fit – Comfort vs Standard
One of the first things to consider is how the ring is shaped on the inside. Comfort fit bands have a slightly rounded interior, making them easier to slide over the knuckle and comfortable for all-day wear. This is the most popular choice for men today – a classic comfort-fit gold band is likely what your father or grandfather wore, and it remains a top pick for good reason.

Traditional or Standard fit bands, by contrast, have a flat interior against the finger. They may feel a bit tighter for the same ring size, but some men prefer the snugness and lower profile. We offer both options, but we find the majority of grooms choose comfort-fit rings for the ideal balance of comfort and security. Additionally, consider the width of the band – common widths range from 4mm to 8mm. Wider bands (6-8mm) can make more of a statement and are often chosen by men with larger hands or who want a bold look, whereas narrower bands are subtle and lightweight.

Detailing & Personalization – Engravings & Inlays

Engraved patterns allow for visual detail on the exterior of the band. From dainty milgrain beading to floral motifs or symbolic designs like waves, vines, or stars — these details add vintage charm or personal meaning.

Interior engraving is a private and sentimental touch — perfect for initials, dates, or phrases only you and your partner know. Luvari offers complimentary interior engraving so you can carry your love story with you every day.
Design a Custom Wedding Band
Bring Your Vision to Life – Our experts will craft your dream ring from scratch.
Have a unique idea in mind? Or perhaps you haven’t found “the one” (ring, that is) in any store? At Luvari, custom design is our specialty.
We offer a Complimentary Custom Design Service that makes it easy to create a one-of-a-kind wedding band. Start with inspiration – whether it’s a sketch, a photo, or just a few adjectives – and our jewelry designers will work with you to design the perfect ring.
Through an exclusive virtual consultation, we listen to your ideas and provide guidance on metals, gemstones, and design features. We can even show you sketches or 3D renderings of the proposed design, so you’ll see exactly how your ring will look.
Once you’re thrilled with the design, our master goldsmiths will hand-craft it to your exact specifications, ensuring every detail is just right.

Endless Possibilities: Want to blend two metals in a way you haven’t seen before? Need a ring that incorporates an heirloom diamond or a piece of wood from a special place?
We love a challenge. From incorporating meaningful symbols to sourcing rare materials, our team can accommodate most requests. Your finished piece won’t just be a ring – it will be a story you can wear.

Heirloom Transformations: Already have a sentimental piece of jewelry or a family heirloom diamond? We can reimagine old jewelry into a new band that carries forward its legacy. For example, clients have brought us a father’s gold ring or a grandparent’s diamonds – and we’ve melted and re-used the gold or reset the stones into a brand new wedding band.
This way, your ring honors the past while being designed for the present you. Our Reimagined Jewelry program even allows using the original gold from an heirloom piece to craft your new band, infusing it with sentimental value.

Fast & Secure Process: From initial concept to final ring, our custom process typically takes a few weeks depending on complexity. We’ll keep you updated at each stage. All custom orders are covered by our same lifetime warranty and free resizing policy.
Plus, we offer fair pricing even on custom work – you’ll get a quote upfront with no surprises, often much more affordable than other bespoke jewelers (thanks to our efficient in-house process and fair margin philosophy).

Expert Guidance, No Pressure: Not sure where to start with custom design? Our friendly designers will guide you step by step – there’s no obligation and no cost to explore designs. Many clients aren’t 100% sure what they want at first; through conversation and sketches, we’ll help you figure it out.
And if you’re local, you can even visit our store to see samples and discuss ideas in person (virtual appointments are available too for convenience).
